Allow me to show you the city I know for many, many years. In this 3 to 4 hours walking tour we'll cover ALL THE HIGHLIGHTS in Porto's historical center. Not just the main monuments and popular squares, but also those small HIDDEN PLACES that local's still refuse to share with foreigners. Porto has some hidden gems that will bring some uniqueness to your stay. There's no default itinerary. I'll not make you visit places you don't want, or that you already visit on your own. Let's decide on that when we meet. During this half-day I'll share with you our history, curiosities and secrets. ABOUT PORTO ... Porto is one of the oldest cities in Portugal and, around the 18th century became one of the most powerful in the world. Porto's inhabitants set the faith of the country and helped bringing "new worlds" to the World. Being all simple hard working people, they created a city that could rival with the capital cities in Europe. Porto's architecture is a showcase of that. Porto's OLD TOWN is the picturesque part of the city. The old neighborhoods are still standing, from the time they were built - back in the 12th to 14th century. A lot of local families still live here, and there's a lot of interesting small places where we can stop for a drink. Usually Porto is known only by the world famous Port Wine. But, there are other wines in Porto that can be quite surprising. Don't miss the opportunity to try them all. This is the adventure I invite you to take on this tour.
